Mount Silver by Yamashita-akaDoragon Mount Silver by Yamashita-akaDoragon
2,5 hours, acrylics
Inspired by how :iconpettyartist: made a really cool digital painting of Locke inside Cerulean Cave, I was tempted to do something similar with YTWC facing Red in Mt. Silver (as that's one of my personal favorite scenes in the whole nuzlocke).

Instead of something truly epic, it ended up being just acrylic mess. At least I'm satisfied how YTWC's hair came out because the hair is important.

I totally remember this and the feelings just got more intense. All of the white highlights that Mt. Silver must be as cold as hell, and the wind... it just gave me chills.

The origins of the gift of talking to Pokémon still remain a mystery, but I will stick to Bazooka's theory.

Red is truly badass: standing always there. In a t-shirt. Or then he's completely frozen (which would explain why he's silent).

I might give more explanation for the humans who can understand Pokémon later in the sequel (if I ever get that started)...but for now, Bazooka's theory will be the closest thing to an explanation I give you.

I guess VentusFair told (wrote??? :D) everything what I wanted to say. Even if it wasn't your first goal, heavy snow makes this painting more special, mysterious. Not only for YTWC, but also for us, we didn't see Red's full face in the comic, did we?

Yeah I have to agree with VentusFair mostly, though I could see why you would maybe think that. I've done similar things before, however I think you did it quite well here, especially with acrylics. ^^

You call it a mess, but it looks actually pretty fucking nice.
The "mess" look more like the harsh conditions of mount silver and Red's unclear figure just tells how mysterious he is to YTCW
