The Exceptional Bond - Part 1

Alright. For some reason I'm sure people will not read this description and then start just asking me "what is this is this a nuzlocke??+?" So I'll say now this just for once, and any questions after this will be ignored:
NO. THIS IS NOT A NUZLOCKE COMIC.
To put this short: this is a side story for a longer Pokémon story I've been working on since 2003. The original story is never released anywhere because 1) it's too long 2) it's partly too cliched for my tastes (but it still have some quite surprisingly mature themes). The actual story follows the life and growing of a Croconaw who's badly traumatized by humans. His life changes when his path crosses with a starting young female trainer (you probably guessed it: it's this Alan/Alice here) who helps him to get over his traumas.

I wrote this side story last year around the time Pokémon X and Y were released. This takes place about 2-3 years after the actual story, and we won't see the original main character, that Croconaw. This side story will focus on Croconaw's trainer Alan and her another little bit problematic Pokémon, Chars the Charizard.
I've been lately really working on this story, so I thought "well, why I wouldn't actually draw it?" and here we are. I think you don't need much information about the characters and the original story to enjoy this, so I guess everybody can enjoy this short thing.
