And so they died Well, there's gotta be some sort of cliffhanger in my comics, right? There always is.
I suggest listening this or any suitable version of Kanto wild Pokémon battle theme while reading this.

Aaaaand...I don't have much to say about this part without telling what happens in it. There's finally some action (which I've been waiting for, discussions are soooo boring) and couple more mentions of Alan's other Pokémon and such: she have a Kangaskhan and she used to read a lot of books before she got the trainer license.
Yeah and Moltres is pretty cool for a Pokémon that looks like a rubber toy.

FINALLY got to read this! this has been sitting in my inbox for over a month, shame on me :'D
i gotta say, it's nice to see good pokemon comics that are not only nuzlockes AND that don't include some pikachuxwhatever protagonist (not that there's anything wrong with that i follow plenty of those stories =w=) and shippings D:
about the story, well, IT HAS A CHARIZARD SO YOU KNOW IT'S GONNA BE BADASS- ahem. sorry for that. i like your characters and the dynamics between them, we don't know (yet?) much about alan's story, but she looks like someone you don't wanna mess around with :'DD chars is adorable. now he can come and burn my face, but i said it. if it makes you feel better, he's also hella badass.
i'm curious about sycamore. sheesh, that guy shows up to get rescued and then disappears into thin mist the next morning, and leaves some weird glowing orb behind ( psst i think it's a charizardite SPOILER ALERT), i kinda have the feeling he's nearby, since that might be a decisive step for his research, but who knows ;P
that said, i'm really digging your art style, and it makes me wanna cry at the same time. doing a comic with pencils is already time consuming enough, doing one with watercolours would slowly kill me from the inside. plus, you've developed some nice paneling technique, and i love how you shape the speech balls! really good comic so far, i can't wait what happens next time in the hope they didn't die and possibly more about that one story you keep hinting at, knowing it's from you it surely can't be bad! :D

ps saw the eusine easter egg in the newspaper of part one :iconheplz:
