Wait, what? Why there's another update split into "part a" and "part b"? The reason is very simple. When I was still writing this story, I created these "chapters" or parts where I go certain amount of story through. Well, I had decided what events I wanted to handle in part 36 but since there was no way I would fit them all in without reaching DA's resolution limit (part 36a is 21 pages and that's about half of part 36 overall) I decided to do the split. Why didn't I call this just part 36 and then made the last half of it part 37? Because I'm just extremely stubborn and I wanted to label these certain events in the story with title "part 36". There's your explanation.
Originally I planned to wait until part 36b would be done, but I also want to keep pace with the updates fairly consistent and if I waited until I'm completely done that would take probably another month. So in the end you would have to wait TWO MONTHS for a single update and that's just something I can't tolerate - a month is already too long in my opinion. It's also too long for my patience.
But it is time for him to go and end this all alone.

please tell me that this is symbolic and all 3 of them didn't die as well. my heart can't take no more
funnily enough, i noticed all the details you pointed out (cody's red eyes meaning he cried, ytwc wrapping the pokeballs with bianca's scarf, etc.), but the most interesting to me is how our good buddy N seems to not be able to understand pokemon speech, at least the way theo does. this ought to be an interesting climax still bidding on that ytwc/N wrestling match
the art is ever as impressive too. N's castle is such a clusterfuck of a design, i'm impressed by the amount of dynamic angles you managed to produce here. seriously, it's like it's coming to life before my eyes
